Gary was a loved and loving husband, father, and papa. He coached youth football at the YMCA for many years, coaching both of his sons. He worked for 34 years at Exxon, retiring in 2002. Gary enjoyed traveling with family and friends and working on his tan underneath the beach house.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Dale “Keith” Larson; uncle, Kenneth Stewart; mother-in-law, Edwina Cline; father-in-law, Joe Cline; and mother, Gladys Larson.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Sylvia Larson; son, Jeff Larson, son, Eric and his wife Catrina Larson and their two children Sydney and Tristin; sister, Linda Ueckert, and as well as many aunts, nieces, and nephews.
His family will be holding a graveside service for him at Cedar Bayou United Methodist Cemetery at 11 am on Wednesday, August 12.
