

Georgia Micha’el Vosloh, born on October 28th 1967 in Baytown Texas, passed away on September 19th 2024 . Micha’el was a vibrant and creative soul known for her passion for finding and refurbishing antique pieces. She owned Forever More Treasures and sold her finds at local antique businesses and in Liberty Tx. An avid animal lover, Micha’el had a special fondness for horses. She was a proud member of the Old Gulf Coast Quarter Horse Association where she showcased her beloved horse Miss B , winning numerous trophies and ribbons. Micha’el also treasured her time with the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo where she served as a Life Member for 30+ years, and held rolls as Vice Chairman and Captain of the Ring Stewards of the Donkey and Mule Show Committee. Being involved in the Livestock Show allowed her to see her favorite singer, George Strait, at each of his performances. She also served on the Ranch Sorting Committee in 2024. Her dedication to supporting young people and agriculture was evident in her years as a 4-H and FFA leader, and Baytown Youth Fair Life Member, where she helped countless students care for their animals by housing them at her barn and teaching them how to care for them. She learned this by her own 9 years in 4-H and 4 years in FFA, showing Broilers, Turkeys, Pigs, Sheep and Steer. Micha’el’s artistic talent shone in her love for sewing, crocheting and knitting .She created beautiful clothing and artwork and made hundreds of crocheted hats and scarves for cancer patients. Her eye for color and design left an indelible mark on those who received her creations. She always had a project going. An enthusiast of The Great Outdoors, Micha’el enjoyed camping and fishing, often waiting patiently for the perfect catch . A proud member of the Daughters of the American Revolution in the Old Three Hundred Chapter of Crosby, and a dedicated Docent for the Battleship “Texas”, Micha’el embraced her community with full heart. She and Bobby spent many hours on the ship, getting it ready for viewing, before it was moved. She also had a lifelong love for classic cars, beginning her journey in the Bayshore Fine Rides Car Club at a young age with her parents. Micha’el graduated from Ross Sterling High School in 1986 where she played trumpet in the Band and also in the Sterling Stars. She served the Goose Creek CISD for about 15 years, positively impacting the lives of many students and teachers.
She is preceded in death by her parents Roy and Georgia Ruth Shannon Vosloh. Michae’l is survived by her brother Wallace Vosloh, husband Bobby Owens and his son Dalton Owens and wife Erin; cousins Darlene Vyoral, Darrell Weaver and wife Nan, Amanda Williams and husband Burton, Stephanie Haag and their children and grandchildren. Micha’el will be remembered for her creativity, generosity and unwavering support for her community and the many lives she touched.
The family thanks Texas Oncology and Dr Pamela Medillin and her entire staff for the wonderful care and treatment she received. After an almost 3 year battle with Cervical Cancer, Micha’el has now won and gone to a better place.
A visitation will take place Wednesday, September 25, 2024 from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Navarre Funeral Home, 2444 Rollingbrook Dr., Baytown, TX 77521. A graveside service will be held at 12:00 PM on Thursday, September 26, 2024 at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery, 6900 Lawndale, Houston, TX 77023
