Graduated from Robert E Lee in 1949. Married David Funderburk January 14, 1951 at Grace Methodist Church.

Preceded in death by her parents, Dee an Thelma Albright; husband, David Funderburk; sister Barbara Purswell; brother Leroy Albright; Daughters and sons in law, Cathy and John Ickes, Mary Ann and James Jackson; daughter Helan Marie Funderburk; sons, William Lawson Funderburk and Robert Carrol Funderburk.

Survived by her grandsons, John David and wife Annie Ickes, Scott and wife Kate Ickes, and Matthew Funderburk; great- grandchildren, Aaron, Emilee, Luke, Eli and Sadie Ickes and Jack and Phoebe Hampton; sister-in-law Wanda Albright; daughters-in-law, Gail

Cox and Carrol Hance and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was a charter member of St Paul's Methodist church, and moved to St Mark's Methodist church after the closing of St. Paul’s.

Enjoyed sewing and loved cooking big meals and sharing company with her many family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 2, 2017, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Navarre Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 2444 Rollingbrook Drive, Baytown, Texas.

Funeral services will be held at St. Marks Methodist Church in Baytown on Thursday, August 3, 2017, at 10 a.m. with burial at San Jacinto Memorial Park at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 3, 2017.
