Gilbert worked hard as a mechanic for LCY Elastomers LP and his own business, Goose Creek Auto Electric. He was a member and served as an usher at Faith Family Church in Baytown for many years. Gilbert was known for his hard work and dedication in everything he did. He loved spending time with his children and helping others. In his free time he enjoyed tinkering and fixing things as a mechanic. He loved being outdoors and caring for his animals but his true passion was riding his motorcycle.
Gilbert never met a stranger and was a friend to many. The family would like to extend their appreciation for all of the love and support they have been given during this very difficult time. Though Gilbert may no longer be with us, his memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents Jesus and Josephine Rosas.
He is survived by his children, Amanda Diaz and her husband Andrew Diaz, Joseph, Andrew and Isabella Rosas.
