Born December 12, 1961, to Frelan “Buster” Williams and Lareta Troutman Williams, she graduated from Barbers Hill High School, and went on to become a teacher at the same school district. For over 30 years, Glenda taught at the elementary level, ending her career as a highly esteemed Special Education teacher. After she retired, she continued to substitute and work in the school.
Glenda loved spending time with her family, her husband Kenny Deans and two children, Caitlin Frost and Andrew Deans. She loved camping, traveling around the world, and spending time with her grandchildren (and foster grandchildren) in New Hampshire. She enjoyed reading, planting flowers in her garden, and baking rolls at Thanksgiving
Glenda was a loving wife and kind and caring mother. She was a strong woman who instilled in her children the importance of family, hard work, and doing what is right. A lifetime member of MercyGate Church, she was steadfast in her faith and faced every challenge in life through prayer and praise.
Glenda is survived by her husband, Kenneth Wayne Deans, of Mont Belvieu, TX; her daughter Caitlin Frost and husband Kevin Frost of New Hampshire; her son Andrew Deans and fiancee Ralitsa Yosifova, of Houston, TX; her grandchildren Mackenzie Frost, Aliyah Frost, Eliza Frost, and Nathaniel Frost; her mother Lareta Williams of Baytown, TX; her brother Roger and wife Jackie Williams of Baytown, TX; her brother Vince and Cyndi Williams of Beach City, TX, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews, and friends.
