Gumesinda Juarez Martinez

She was born in Galveston, TX, but was a long time resident of Baytown. A lifelong member of the Catholic Church, she was a beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

She is preceded in death by her husband Alfonso G. Martinez, a daughter, Gloria D. Morales, and a grandson, Daniel A. Morales, Jr.

She is survived by her children, Pedro Martinez and wife Julia, Margaret Silvas, Benny Martinez, JoAngel Martinez, Monica Tharp and son-in-law Daniel A. Morales, Sr., a brother, Margarito Juarez, grandchildren, Mario Morales, Augustine Silvas, Michael Silvas, Christopher Silvas, John Silvas, Pete Martinez, Julie Villarreal, Patricia Postoak, Nicholas Martinez and Andrew Martinez.

Serving the family as pallbearers will be Robert Juarez, Andrew Martinez, Nicholas Martinez, Ruben Ramirez, Augustine Silvas, and Constable Ken Jones.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 16, 2012 at Earthman Funeral Home Chapel, 3919 Garth Rd., Baytown, TX 77521, from 5:00pm to 7:00pm., with a Rosary Service to follow at 7:00pm with Deacon Rudy Venegas.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, October 17, 2012 at 10:00am at Holy Family Catholic Church, 7122 Whiting Rock Dr., Baytown, TX 77521, interment will follow immediately at Earthman Memory Gardens Cemetery, 8624 Garth Rd., Baytown, TX 77521.
