Isaac G. ""Sonny Rhine

Isaac G. ""Sonny"" Rhine, 79, of Liberty was born April 7, 1930 in Sinton, TX and passed away Friday, June 19, 2009 in a Houston hospital. He was a U.S. Army Veteran. He enjoyed spending time with his family, walking on the beach, coloring and watching his John ""The Duke"" Wayne movies

He was preceded in death by his wife, Velma ""Bam Bam"" Rhine and is survived by his sons, Roger Rhine, Isaac Rhine III, Clay Rhine and Kelley Rhine; daughter, Judy Rhine; stepsons and stepdaughters-in-law, Tommy and Linda Hardy, Carl Hardy and William and Kathy Hardy; stepdaughters and stepson-in-law; Linda Hlanak, Dorothy and Stan Heagh and Ethel Hardy; first wife, Elizabeth Manning; very special sisters; Nina Dubose and Dorothy West; and 27 grandchildren and, 41 great grandchildren.

During his illness, Isaac was comforted with the support of his loving family including his daughters Linda Hlanak and Dorothy Heagh, granddaughter Crystal Cook and grandson Rodney Price Jr.

His family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home Sunday from 2:00 pm until 4:00 p.m. Funeral services will be Monday, June 22, 2009 at 2:00 pm at Navarre Funeral Home with Rev, Eddie Norris officiating. Burial will follow at White Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be Myron Cook, Stan Heagh, Alex Reyes Zachary Heagh, Robert Rogers and Rodney Price.
