Isabel “Chabela” Moya De Gomez, 75, of Baytown, Texas, passed away peacefully on October 11, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family. Born on July 8, 1950, in Carúpano, Venezuela, Isabel lived a life defined by warmth, compassion, and devotion to those she loved.
A proud wife and mother, Isabel dedicated her life to raising her four beautiful daughters, nurturing them with patience, strength, and unconditional love. Her greatest joy came from her role as a mother, and those who knew her will forever remember her as the heart of her family. Her kindness touched everyone she met, whether through her welcoming smile or her quiet acts of care that left lasting impressions.
Chabela found joy in simple moments—family gatherings, laughter shared over meals, and the everyday beauty of life. Her deep love for her daughters, Isabel, Lilibeth, and Paola, remains an enduring legacy of her generous spirit and boundless affection.
Though she has left this world, Isabel’s presence will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and friends. Her favorite song, “Amor Eterno” by Rocío Dúrcal, will forever echo the love she gave and the grace she embodied.
