Yvonne was born on March 1, 1935 in Alexandria, Louisiana to Calvin and Louise Treadway. On September 25, 1952, she married Albert Junior McMullen. Together, they raised 4 children, Darrell, Cynthia, Susan, and Timothy.
Yvonne was a dedicated homemaker, wife, mother and grandmother. She was a faithful member of Cedar Bayou Baptist Church where she sang in the church choir. She enjoyed spending time with her family, bird watching, traveling, gardening, and whipping up something delicious in the kitchen.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Cynthia Evans and Susan Freeman and husband, Ray; grandchildren, Zechariah Jahnke and wife, Deborah, Micah Jahnke and wife, Vicki, Lauren McCormick and husband, Robert, Rachel Bigelow and husband, Ryan, Rebecca Freeman; and great-grandchildren, Ian Jahnke and Levi McCormick.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Albert; sons Charles Darrell McMullen and Timothy Wayne McMullen; son-in-law, J.A. “Sonny” Evans; brother, Calvin; and parents. Dr. E. Richard Steele and Dr. Mark Broussard officiating. Pallbearers will be Eddie Capps, Rusty Lamb, Tommy Morris, Carl “Bubba” Norris, Ray Watson, and Richard Whitaker, Jr.
