Jacquelyn was born on July 9, 1949, in Baytown, Texas, to Virgil and Annie Allen. She was one of six children. She was a member of Second Baptist Baytown, were she enjoyed worship with her family for many years prior to moving to St. James House in 2013. Jacquelyn was the most passionate loving and caring person; she was truly loved by her family and friends. Jacquelyn was a true blessing to all that had the honor of calling her daughter, sister, aunt and friend. Her passion for the Lord, family and Winnie the Pooh was unmeasurable. She will forever be in the hearts of all that called her family or friend.
Jacquelyn is preceded in death by loving parents, Virgil and Annie Allen, and her brothers Tex Ray Allen and George Andrew Allen.
Jacquelyn will be lovingly remembered by those she left behind. Survived by brothers Leland Allen, Bobby and wife Opal “Scooter” Allen, Ted and wife Linda Allen, sister-in-law Thresa Allen, and numerous nephews, nieces and extended family and friends.
She will be greatly missed. There is comfort in knowing that she is reunited with the Lord our God and the many loved ones and friends that have gone before her.
The family extends a special thanks to the amazing St. James House care team for all the loving care and compassion that they have provided over the past twelve years.

Visitation for family and friends will begin on Thursday, March 6, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Earthman Baytown Funeral Home, 3919 Garth Road, Baytown, Texas 77521. Funeral service will begin at 10:00 AM on Friday, March 7, 2025 at the funeral home, with graveside service to follow at 11:30 AM at Cedarcrest Cemetery, 3010 Ferry Road, Baytown, Texas 77520.
