James Paul Ward, 46, passed away on Tuesday June 9, 2020 in Baytown, Texas. He was born on July 12, 1973 in Mississippi. He is the son of Eual and Dixie Smith. James is survived by his mother, Dixie Smith. Children, Jordan Ballard (Michael Ballard), Tyler Ward, Trevor Broadus. Grandchildren, Addison Ballard, Cory Ward. Sisters, Angela Marquez (Jesse Marquez), Tina Vowell (Doug Vowell). Brothers, Teddy Waltman (Jennifer Waltman), Leslie Smith (Callie Smith), Kevin Smith, and many nieces and nephews. He is proceeded in death by, his father, Eual Smith, grandmother, Winona Bryant aka B-ma, and uncle Larry Bryant. James loved his family very much. He was able to build a house from the ground up, always working with his hands, he was incredibly talented. He loved the outdoors and Longhorn football. James was very patriotic towards his country. He was kind hearted and loved with everything he had, he would give you the shirt off his back. He is loved by a bunch, liked by a lot and hated by who cares. One thing is for sure is, he made an impact wherever he went and will be greatly missed.
