Jane ""Jeannette Laramore Johnson

Jeannette Johnson, 87, of Baytown was born September 14, 1924 in Trinity, TX to W. J. and Ida Campbell Laramore and passed away Friday, June 8, 2012 in a local healthcare facility. She was an active member of Trinity Tabernacle Assembly of God Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Freida Laramore; brothers, James S. Laramore, M. J. Laramore, Jr., and Wimpy Laramore; husband of 61 years, Henry Edgar Johnson, who passed away in 2004; and daughter, Cynthia Sue Johnson Whitley, who passed away in 2001. She is survived by her grand-daughter, Cydney Whitley; sister, Esther Laramore Waldrep Wakefield; several nephews, great nephews, nieces; sister-in-law, Wanda Johnson and brother-in-law, Gene Vaughn.

Her family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home Sunday from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. Graveside services will be Monday, June 11, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Memory Gardens Cemetery with Rev. Tim Morgan officiating.

Even through the sorrow of losing her only daughter, husband, and younger sister, she spent her last days appreciating the little things and cherishing her only beloved granddaughter, Cydney.
