Jared Heath Phillips

Jared Heath Phillips, 34, of Lufkin, Texas passed away suddenly on Sunday, March 17, 2013. Jared was born on November 27, 1978 in Austin, Texas. He resided in Huntington, Texas the first two years of his life with his proud parents, Alton and Sandra Phillips. The next twenty-eight years he resided in Baytown, Texas where he attended Baytown Christian Academy and graduated from Ross S. Sterling High School. He attended and was a member of Maranatha Church. The last years of his life he resided in the Lufkin area and worked at Lufkin Industries as a machine operator. Jared loved his friends, family, sports, hunting, fishing and playing the guitar. He attended the First Assembly of God Church in Lufkin. In passing, Jared leaves behind his mom and dad who loved him dearly.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 21, 2013 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Navarre Funeral Home in Baytown. A funeral service will take place on Friday, March 22, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of the funeral home with Dr. Mark Trice and Rev. Scott Niemeier presiding. Serving as pallbearers will be; Ronny Hayes, Aaron Johnson, Aaron Marsh, Steven Moye, Jonathan Moye, Ryan Moye and Caleb Edwards. A graveside service will be held on Friday at 2:00 p.m. at Jones Prairie Cemetery in Leggett, Texas with Rev. Danny Moye officiating.
