

Jason Derrett, 29, of Baytown was born November 22, 1975 in Baytown and passed away Saturday, May 28, 2005 in a Nacogdoches hospital. He was a 1994 Robert E. Lee High School graduate and a Houston firefighter, working out of Station #9.
His family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home Tuesday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be Wednesday, June 1, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at Navarre Funeral Home with Rev. Tommy Clements officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Stella Shugart and Donald F. and Lois G. Derrett and is survived by his wife, Randi Derrett of Baytown; parents, Rickey and Treasa Derrett of Baytown; sister, Mindi Derrett of Baytown; brother, Alan Derrett of Houston; nephew, Cody Dunlap; uncles and aunt, Larry Derrett of Houston and James “Butch” and Maria Shugart of Broaddus; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Robert and Pamela Barrow of Baytown; sister-in-law, Jordan Barrow of Baytown; and best friends, Keith Hart of Houston and Paw Paw Hart of Baytown.
Jason was always there to help and would do anything for anybody. He loved his family, baseball, and Harley’s. He will be missed.
