

Jeanne Adams Webster Redmond, 86, of Baytown passed away Thursday, December 4, 2008 at Remington Park. She was born in Lansing, Michigan on November 27, 1922 and her childhood years were spent in Michigan and Ohio. She moved to Baytown with her parents, Vernon and Elsa Webster and sister, Barbara. Jean met Jeffrey Redmond while attending Robert E. Lee High School. They married in November of 1943 and were married for 62 years. Mr. Redmond served in the Army during World War II and was employed by Humble Oil and later Exxon Chemical.
Cherishing her memory are her three daughters, Karen Williamson and Jan Underwood of Baytown and Leigh Campbell of The Woodlands. Also her grandchildren; Ross Connealy and wife Susan, Kim Williams and husband Terry, Kristen Underwood, Danielle Frazier and husband Mark all of Baytown. Also Aaron Underwood and wife Melissa of Riverdale, CA. Surviving great-grandchildren are: Jeffrey and Jordan Connealy, Keely Williams and Zachary and Megan Frazier of Baytown. Also, Madison Underwood of Bridge City and Avery Underwood of Riverdale, CA.
Jean was preceded in death by her husband, Jeffrey Redmond, her parents, Vernon and Elsa Webster, her sister, Barbara Graham and a grandson, Heath Keeling. Surviving cousins are Sue Webster of Mt. Vernon, OH and Sue Pimental of Santa Ana, CA. Also surviving are her niece, Christy Reed and nephew, John Beatty of Beaumont.
The family would like to express their deepest appreciation to the staff of Remington Park and Faith Community Hospice for their loving care and service to Mrs. Redmond.
The family will receive friends starting at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 6, 2008 at Navarre Funeral Home. Funeral services will start at 2:00 p.m. at Navarre Funeral Home & Cremation Services with Chaplain Yvonne Battle officiating. Interment will follow at Cedarcrest Cemetery.
