Jerald Ray Robins

Jerald Ray Robins of Baytown, Texas, passed away January 20, 2025, after a long battle with lung cancer. He was born in Gregg County, Texas on July 28 or 30, 1938 (depending on who you ask) to C.C. & Ina Marie Robins.

Jerald, “Robbie”, worked as an Area Manager of Construction Service for Brown & Root from 1966 to 1995 & General Petro Chem from 1995 to 2011. He was forced to retire due to health issues.

He enjoyed hunting with his brother Duck, his brother-in-law James Troy, son in law Jeff & very dear friend Richard Sweeney. He loved sitting outside watching the cars drive by & resting his eyes.

He was preceded in death by his parents C.C. & Ina Marie Robins, step-mother Jessie B Robins, brothers Kenneth Frederick, Billy Joe “Son”, Donald “Duck”, Jackie Wayne “Bud”, Larry Lynn “Pill”, sisters Nancy Ruth Folwell & Mary “Bibi” & husband Howard Dorris. In-laws Tom & Mary Alice Shuttlesworth. Brother-in- laws James & Ronald Shuttlesworth. Sister-in-law Tomi Ferguson & husband Ray. Son-in-law Jeff Humbird. Also his loyal fur baby, Bo.

He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Wanda. Daughters, Debra Humbird & Alice Robins. Brother Connie Mac (Donna). Sisters Ina Christine “Sue” Doss (Gary) & Doretha Ingram. Sister in laws Barbara Nell Robins & Dianne Shuttlesworth. Grandchildren James Humbird & Chris Humbird (Kellye), great grandchildren Jaden & Ryleigh Humbird. And 2 very special “grandchildren” Nick Coffey & Sasha Culver (Dane) & sweet baby Aubrie that he didn’t have the chance to meet. Also numerous nieces, nephews & great nieces & nephews.

Visitation will be held from 5-7 pm, Tuesday, January 28, 2025, at Navarre Funeral Home Chapel, 2444 Rollingbrook Drive, Baytown, TX 77521. Funeral service will begin at 1 pm, Wednesday, January 29, 2025, at Navarre Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside service will be at 1 pm, Thursday, January 30, 2025, at Pinecrest Cemetery, in Troup, TX 75789.
