Jimmie Rae Kimmey

Jimmie Rae Kimmey, passed away July 7, 2013. She was born on December 14, 1931 in Shepherd, Texas to Eldon and Agnes Parker. She is survived by the love of her life of 60 years, George Kimmey; son, Ronnie Kimmey and daughter, Debbie Kimmey Sloan and husband Jim; grandchildren, Tom Kimmey and wife, Wendy, Carrie Quinn and husband, John, Elizabeth Carlin and husband, Brad, Jonathan Baggett and wife, Becky, Daniel Baggett and fiancé, Tina Kuhns and Nick Sloan and fiancé, Jacquline Mazar; great grandchildren, Lincoln and soon to arrive Martin Kimmey, Bailey, Logan and Emma Quinn, Ella Carlin and Henry Baggett.

Her family and being a nurse were her passions. She graduated from St. Joseph's School of Nursing in Houston, Texas where she fulfilled her dream of becoming a Registered Nurse. She worked as a nurse in Baytown and retired after more than 30 years with Dr. Phillip Eichelberger. The friendships she made were lifelong and cherished.

Visitation will take place at Navarre Funeral Home, Wednesday, July 10, 2013, 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Graveside services will be Thursday, July 11, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Memory Gardens in Baytown, Texas. Officiating the services will be Tom Kimmey and Saul Blair.
