Joshua Caleb Griggs passed away unexpectedly Saturday August 14, 2021 at HCA hospital in Conroe. He was born October 21,1988 to Charles Christopher Griggs and Chandra A Griggs in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He relocated with his family to Baytown at 9 months old.
Joshua graduated from Barbers Hill High School in 2007 and entered the United States Air Force, he proudly served for 11 years achieving the rank of Tech Sargent before leaving the Air Force and returning home to be near family. Josh had many interests and passions he loved racing and participated in a racing league while stationed in Fairbanks, Alaska. He also volunteered with the Air Force at nascar events when he was available. He was a sports fan and loved Oklahoma State football regardless of their record. He attended Liberty University. He became a licensed real estate agent in Texas after returning home. He was working his dream job as a boat broker at Texas Marine at that time of his death. This allowed him to spend every day doing what he loved buying and selling boats and spending time on the lakes doing “test drives”. He loved fishing and always practiced what he called CPR (catch, photographer, and release.} He loved catching them, not cleaning them. He was a friend who could be counted on in the good times and the bad. While we are proud of all his accomplishments, we are proudest of the fact that he is described by those who knew him as “A good man”.
