Joyce Ann Dorris Blasingame

Joyce Ann Dorris Blasingame, 83, of Baytown was born February 11, 1933, in Pelly and passed away Saturday, December 31, 2016. She was a homemaker, raising 3 children and later became a hair dresser. She enjoyed sewing, traveling across the US and antiquing with her husband in their RV. She especially enjoyed her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband and love of her life, Charles Blasingame, her parents, Otto and Jewell Dorris, her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Albert and Jewel Blasingame. She is survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Charla and Chris Malek of Alba, Texas and Cathy and Jon Edelfelt of Santa Fe, New Mexico; son and daughter-in-law, Clay and Lisa Blasingame of Baytown. Also surviving are, grandchildren Lacey and Nick Proffer, Trent Blasingame, Aaron Malek, Austin and Bailey Malek; great-grandchildren, Cayden, Landon and Adelyn Proffer, sister-in-law, Margaret Davidson, and several nieces, nephews and numerous friends.

The family request that on Saturday, January 7, 2017 at 2:00 p.m., please pause for a moment in the place of your choice to remember the life of Joyce Ann Dorris Blasingame.

A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
