

Judi Lavender, 63, of Baytown, passed away Thursday, October 16, 2008 in a Mobile, Alabama hospital. She was born October 24, 1944 in San Antonio, moved to Baytown shortly after her birth and resided here ever since.
Judi was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, a retired process technician from Exxon after 18 years of service and had worked at several doctors offices in the area as a radiology technician. Her enjoyments included hunting, fishing, ceramics, traveling, cooking, gardening and motorcycles.
She was preceded in death by her parents, B. B. Knox and Ethel Carter Knox and a brother, Lester Moore.
Survivors include her husband, Chuck Lavender of Baytown, children, Carrie Moore and her husband Davin of Pleasanton, Texas, Tracy Kern and her husband Randy of Highlands and Ken Harrelson and his wife Vicki of League City; sister, Pat Pryor of Red Oak; brother, Gene Moore and his wife Barbara of Red Oak; grandchildren, Daniel Hale, Bethany Moore, Megan Armentor and Derek and Casey Harrelson; dear friends, Anita Bishop and Kim Hall and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 21, 2008 at the Navarre Funeral Home with Rev. Ken Goodell officiating. Burial will follow at the Memory Gardens Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, October 20, 2008 at the funeral home.
Serving as pallbearers will be Derek Harrelson, Gary Fenimore, Clarence Walker, Davin Moore, Danny Hale and Ken Harrelson.
