Kent Barnard Burris

Kent was married to Marie Stevens for 20+ years. He had a career in Electrical and worked for Exxon, Goose Creek School, City of Deer Park, numerous contractors, and was self-employed for many years. Kent was very knowledgeable and a jack of all trades. He was a member of Cedar Bayou Baptist Church. Kent loved witnessing to people and helping people in any way that he could.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Aleta Burris; brother, Don Burris; sisters, Linda Wilkens, Susan Kates, sons, Daniel Burris, Nathan Burris; and granddaughter, Danielle Burris.

Kent is survived by daughters, Anita Barth, Delia Honovich; son, Brent Burris; grandchildren, Reggie Barth, Dixie Barth, Austin Barth, Robin Barth, Connor and Miranda Woodruff, Nickolas and Alyssa Burris, Lauren Honovich, Christina Wiser; great-grandchildren, Kalob Otts, Patton Danielle Burris; nephew and nieces, Michael Wallace, Denise Myatt, and Cindy Kates.

Visitation will be held starting at 9 am, Saturday, April 2, 2022, at Navarre Funeral Home, 2444 Rollingbrook Dr., Baytown, TX 77521. Funeral service will begin at 10 am. Interment will follow at 11:30 am, at Cedar Crest Cemetery, 3010 Ferry Rd., Baytown, TX 77520.
