Kevin Ballard

Kevin ""Bull"" Ballard, 35, of Beach City was born June 26, 1975 in Baytown and passed away Monday, August 2, 2010 as a result of an automobile accident. He was an operator at Bayer Chemical with 14 years of service, where he was a member of the rescue team and fire brigade. He was a member of Lakewood Church of Christ, the NRA, and the NHRA.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Bessie Hartman, Leo Tipps, and John Ballard, Sr. He is survived by his wife, Barbie Ballard, son, Austin Ballard, daughter, Bailey Ballard, and parents, Johnny and Geanie Ballard, all of Beach City; brothers and sisters-in-law, Brian and Renee Ballard of Baytown and Kyle and Malissa Ballard of Lorena; grandparents, Jesse and Anne Sapp of Waco; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ken and Helen Jones and sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Michelle and Freddie Leggett, all of Baytown.

His family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home Thursday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be Friday, August 6, 2010 at 10:00 a. m. at Navarre Funeral Home with David Ellis officiating. Burial will follow at 2:00 p.m. at the John Turner Cemetery east of Livingston in Polk County.

Serving as pallbearers will be Brian Ballard, Kyle Ballard, Freddie Leggett, Shane Sizemore, Lee Bernard, and Kurt Myron.
