Linda Sue Wells

Linda Sue Wells, 78, of Baytown, Texas, passed away on Friday, March 6, 2026, in Houston, Texas, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on November 1, 1947, in Beaumont, Texas, to the late Earl Edward Hill and Josephine “Jo” Wheeler Hill. Linda proudly graduated from Jasper High School, in Jasper, Texas, Class of 1966. In 1968, she married the love of her life, a young man by the name of Michael Wells. They spent the next 58 years together raising their children and building a wonderful life together.

Linda pursued many interests, some of which included her love for cooking, baking and doing crafts. In fact, she created a family cookbook that will be forever cherished by her children and grandchildren. She also enjoyed traveling and shopping in her free time. Linda also loved decorating, especially for the holidays. Above all, her greatest joy came from the precious time spent with her family.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents. She leaves behind her loving husband Michael; her children Michael Wells and wife, Dana, Jodi Wells, and Jeremy Wells and wife, Laura; her grandchildren Jacob Wells, Alyssa Wells, Chase Wells, Baileigh Chandler and husband Joshua, Kayla Wells; her brother Ray Hill and wife Suzanne; her numerous nieces and nephews; and her fur baby Rowdy; along with a host of other loving relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held at Earthman Baytown Funeral Home, 3919 Garth Road, Baytown, Texas 77521, on March 13, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A graveside service will be held at Pine Ridge Cemetery, 13430 FM 421, Sour Lake, Texas 77659, on March 14, 2026, at 12:00 pm.
