Lloyd C. Garrett, Jr.

Lloyd C. Garrett, Jr., 87, of Baytown, formerly Fort Myers Beach, FL was born March 23, 1926 in Pelly and passed away Saturday, January 18, 2014 in a Houston hospice. He was retired from Shell Oil Company and was a member of the Fort Myers, FL United Methodist Church. He was a U. S. Army Air Force veteran of WWII and a 50 year member of the Cedar Bayou Masonic Lodge #321.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd C. Sr. and Dora Mae Garrett and daughter, Patricia Garrett Shirley. He is survived by his wife, Helen Garrett; son and daughter-in-law, Greg and Janice Garrett; and grandson, Neal Garrett and wife Heather and their children, Ilan and Zinnia.

His family will have a memorial visitation at Navarre Funeral Home Saturday, January 25, 2014 from 3:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. At his request, he was cremated and his cremains will be buried next to his daughter.

His family would like to say a special ""thank you"" to Dr. James Bernick, the staff of Houston Methodist Hospital, Houston Methodist Hospital San Jacinto, and Houston Hospice, and his caregiver, Allicia Andrews.
