

Lou M. Parkinson, 73, of Baytown, TX was born August 31, 1932 in Houston and passed away Monday, December 12, 2005 in a Houston hospital. She was in private practice as a Marriage and Family Therapist for many years in Baytown. She was a member of St. Mark’s United Methodist Church, the Baytown Rotary Club, the Quilt Guild, and many other local organizations.
Her family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home Wednesday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. A memorial service will be held Thursday, December 15, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Mark’s United Methodist Church with Rev. Mike Proctor officiating. At her request, her body will be cremated.
She was preceded in death by her father J. L. DeLoach Sr. and brother Tommy Deloach. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, David Paul Parkinson of Baytown; sons and daughters-in-law, David and Paula Parkinson of Baytown, Dan and Melinda Parkinson of Lake Jackson, Doug and Cheri Parkinson of Waconia, MN, and Don Parkinson of The Woodlands; mother, Aletha DeLoach of Baytown; brother and sister-in-law, J. L. Jr. and Judy DeLoach of Baytown; sister and brother-in-law, Beverly and Leonard Morgan of Baytown; 9 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild.
In lieu of usual remembrances, contributions may be made to St. Mark’s United Methodist Church, 3811 N. Main, Baytown, TX 77521.
