9/12/43-9/6/2025
We lost our mother on September 6, 2025 from complications of Parkinson’s disease. She was a loyal friend, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who loved her family dearly. She went back to school and became a registered nurse. She worked for many years at Texas Orthopedic Hospital and was a caring, compassionate clinician.
She was preceded in death by husband Joe Copeland in 1981. She remarried George Restivo in 1985 and together, they blended their families. She loved the Astros, the Rockets and Texans, all animals (except lizards and snakes) and an occasional visit to the casino. She will be forever loved and missed by her family.
She is survived by daughters Kay Langseth and husband Jeff, Tracey Aycock and husband Troy, Gina Pendleton and husband Tommy, son David Restivo and wife Natasha; grandchildren Nicholas and Marley Hayman, Blaine and Katie Glover, Ryland Langseth, Hannah Langseth, Makenzie Lee and Lily Restivo, and great grandchildren Bentley, Hinson and Kylan Hayman. Special thanks to caregivers Jenny Pereyra and Lauren Carballo who provided the kindest, gentlest, most respectful care. Our mom loved you.
In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Parkinson’s Foundation, the Oley Foundation , the Humane Society or the charity of your choice.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday September 20, 2025 at the home of Tracey and Troy Aycock for friends and family.
