Marguerite Redford

She was born November 6, 1923 in Rio Vista, Texas to her late parents, Olive Reed and Mable Minicus Reed, had lived in the Houston area since 1945, was a retired clerk from the railroad and also had worked as an insurance salesperson.

Marguerite had also served as a past president of the Houston Garden Club.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter, Dian Redford.

Survivors include: husband, Russell P. Redford, Sr. of Houston; sons, Russell P. Redford, Jr. and his wife Dorothy Kathleen of Birmingham, Alabama and Rodney W. Redford and his wife Gayle of Channelview; sisters, Patricia Wagner and her husband Sam of Garland and Marie Foster and her husband Leemon of Lampasas; grandchildren, Debra Rene′ Briskey and her husband Russell, Russell P. Redford, III and his wife Kristy, Bryan Seale, Kyle P. Redford and Cory R. Redford; great-grandchildren, William Briskey, Lacy Briskey, Caitlan Briskey, Madison Paige Redford, Grayson Cole Redford and Summer Seale and great-great-grandchildren, Owen Briskey and Riley Briskey.

Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, April 3, 2009 at Navarre Funeral with Rev. Kenneth Trent officiating. A private family will be held at a later time.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Thursday, April 2, 2009 at the funeral home.
