She was preceded in death by her mother, Mercedes Hierro del Valle; father, Carlos de Lemus Martin; brother, Carlos de Lemus; and sister, Milagrosa de Lemus. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Carlos and Jacquelyn Spiers; daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and David Dodds; brothers and sisters, Rafael de Lemus, Rocio de Lemus, Amalia de Lemus, Antonio de Lemus, Mercedes Fischer, Maria del Mar Hill, Francisco Javier de Lemus, Maria Dolores de Lemus, Eperanza ""Nancy"" Eubanks, and Maria del Carmen Kirchens; and grandchildren, Maximo and Niko and Drew, Ryan, and Dana.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, February 29, 2012 at 6:00 p.m. at Navarre Funeral Home with Rev. Eddie Norris officiating.
