Marian McClain LeBouf, our loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother entered heaven on Friday, July 29, 2022 at the age of 84. She was born in Baytown, Texas on December 22, 1937 to Turner and Ethel McClain.
Marian was a 1956 graduate of Robert E. Lee High School where she played in the band. She worked for American General Insurance Company and retired from Goose Creek ISD. She was a long time member of Cedar Bayou Baptist Church, where she played the piano for over 30 years. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family. She cooked, baked, and hosted many family gatherings.
Marian was preceded in death by her devoted husband of 63 years Lee LeBouf; her parents; her sisters Murl Smith, Doris Hallman, and Dorothy Frazar. She is survived by her two sons Jerry and Randy and his wife Candy; sister Barbara Fanestiel and husband Donnie; a special cousin who she loved like a sister Nadean Bossley and husband Donnie; grandchildren Whitney Wood and husband David, and Zachary LeBouf; great grandchild David Wood, III; and a host of nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.
Marian's family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Christal and Kathy Saunders for all the love, support, care, and companionship they offered our mother during the past several years.
The family will receive guests on Thursday, August 4, 2022 from 9:00am to 10:00am at Earthman Baytown Funeral Home, 3919 Garth Road, Baytown, Texas, 77521. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 10:00am with Brother Mark Broussard and Brother Richard Steele officiating. Committal will be at
Earthman Memory Gardens Cemetery, 8624 Garth Road, Baytown, Texas 77521 immediately after the service.
