Marie had a career as a bookkeeper and Administrative Assistant for Superintendent of City of Syracuse NY School District, as well as several other local business'.
She enjoyed socializing and playing the card game "Fast Track" with her many friends, she also enjoyed race horses, was an avid reader and could usually be found in the kitchen baking for family and friends, sending her Christmas Cookies and Homemade Fudge to them all over the country. She had a passion for knitting and crocheting blankets and clothing that she supplied to family and friends for many years. She was loved and will be remembered by all.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Bukowski, and four children, Michael Planty, Jane Lamica, Barbara Brooks and Stanley Bukowski, Jr.
She is survived by her daughter, Claire Planty, and her sons, Timothy Planty, John Bukowski and Christopher Bukowski. As well as many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A Committal service will be held at 9:00 am on Saturday, March 9, 2024 at Greenlawn Cemetery, Camillus,NY
