

Mary Bealle Dawson Floyd Noah was granted her angel wings on May 31, 2012, during her final days she was surrounded by family as she had been through out her memorable life. She was born on March 2, 1916 in Mobile, Alabama to Dr. Henry Bealle Dawson Sr. and wife, Ella Adele. Her childhood and early adult life were spent in Mobile where she attended Julius T. Wright School for Girls until 1931, and graduated from Murphy High School in 1933, Mary Bealle went on to attend Alabama College in Montevallo, AL where she was a member of Theta Kappa Sigma Sorority. She and her family were members of Dauphin Way Methodist Church in Mobile. She traveled across the country from Charleston, SC to San Diego, CA and finally Pearl Harbor, HI taking her daughter and following her husband as he was assigned to different naval bases before he was sent where families could not follow. She has called Atlanta GA, Mobile AL, Houston TX, Baytown, TX and finally Hemphill TX, home. She served many different roles throughout her life, from naval officer's wife, to wage earner, caregiver, friend, widower, homemaker and then wife again. All during her life she loved to play bridge and in later years enjoyed the many people of the Tuesday and Wednesday Bridge Groups that she played with while living in Hemphill. Mary Bealle cherished spending her time with her family and friends and when unable she kept in contact by whatever means possible. She was a long time member of Grace United Methodist Church of Baytown and then later of First United Methodist Church of Hemphill.
Mary Bealle is preceded in death her parents and by her husbands, Frank Emmett Floyd Jr. and William Watson Noah and also by her brother Henry Bealle Dawson Jr.
She is survived by her daughter Ella Adele Floyd Pumphrey and husband Murus D. Pumphrey III. Sister-in-law Mrs. Dorothy Kathleen Dawson. Grandchildren, Murus D. Pumphrey IV and wife Denise, Frank Emmett Pumphrey and wife Kristen, Mary Marguerite Gopon and husband Steven. Great-Grandchildren, Katherine E. Pumphrey, Heather L. Hallman, Sarah A. Pumphrey, Brooke A. Hallman, W. Hunter Pumphrey, Gene G. Gopon, Haley N. Hallman, and Loren N. Pumphrey. Great-Great Grandson, Bryson D. Pumphrey. Nieces and Nephews, Diane Dawson Shepherd and husband William, H. Bealle Dawson III and wife Patricia, Mary Ann Dawson Cole and husband Michael, along with numerous great nieces and nephews, cousins and a great-great niece.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Sunday, June 3, 2012 at Navarre Funeral Home. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, June 4, 2012 at the funeral home with Rev. Carol Turner officiating. Burial will follow at Palms Memorial Park in Dayton.
Serving as pallbearers will be H. Bealle Dawson III, Murus D. Pumphrey IV, Frank Emmett Pumphrey, Steven P. Gopon, G. Andre Fischesser, Steven L. Powers
Honorary Pallbearer's are William H. Shepherd, Michael L. Cole, W. Brent Shepherd, Will F.Kahlbau, Steven P, Savarese Jr.
