Mary J. Gorby, 88, of Dayton, TX was born September 14, 1917 in Youngstown, OH and passed away Saturday, August 19, 2006 in a Baytown hospital. She was a member of the Christian faith and the Morning Light Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star in Warren, OH. She was a retired nutrition manager for the Goose Creek school district.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd W. Gorby, son, William David Gorby, and granddaughter, Shelly Lynn Gorby. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Suellen and Charles Lambert of Dayton; sons and daughters-in-law, Ronald and Marie Gorby of Gainesville, GA, Raymond Gary and Laura Gorby of Niles, OH, and Wayne M. and Janie Gorby of Cortland, OH; sister, Betty Severyn of Chattanooga, TN; grandchildren, Kim Bradford, Lori Cryer, Raymond Gorby, Mark Gorby, Gina Neal, Wayne M. Gorby Jr., Denise Galloway, Martin Gorby, and Michael Gorby; and several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
