Melissa Leming Bogan

Melissa Leming Bogan was born on October 29, 1973 and passed away suddenly on Sunday, January 19, 2014. Melissa lived most of her life in Mont Belvieu, but she spent a brief period of time in Marshall, NC where she accepted Christ and was baptized at Long Branch Baptist Church. She previously worked at Boeing Aerospace, but the last 7 years she was a stay-at-home mom for her 7 year old son, John Patrick, who was her miracle baby and the light of her life. Melissa enjoyed cooking and trying out new dishes. She was crafty and enjoyed making things for John Patrick's class. Melissa always enjoyed taking care of her family.

She is survived by her husband, John Bogan, and son, John Patrick Bogan; parents, Pat and Gaynell Leming of Mont Belvieu; her brother who was more like her twin, Patrick Leming of Mont Belvieu; sister and brother-in-law, Kim and Randy Stacy of Fulshear; and brother, Joshua Leming of Mont Belvieu; nieces and nephews, Maegan Stacy, Josh Stacy, and Katy Leming; father-in-law and mother-in-law, John and Mary Bogan of Baytown; and brother-in-law, Charles Bogan of Houston. Melissa is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Her family will receive friends Thursday, January 23, 2014, at First Baptist Church Mont Belvieu, 10110 Eagle Dr., Mont Belvieu, TX 77580 beginning at 10:00 a.m. with a funeral to follow at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Jake Porter officiating. Burial will follow at Cedarcrest Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be Charles Bogan, Patrick Leming, Donovan Lindsey, Sgt. Chares Gore, Randy Stacy, and Josh Stacy.
