Myrtle Mary Speer passed away Saturday, March 19, 2005 at home. She was born April 9, 1906 in Italy, Texas to Robert and Hilary Childers. She was resident of Mont Belvieu, a member of the Easter Star, and First Baptist Church in Mont Belvieu.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Aubrey Speer, son Bobby Speer, brother Raymond Childers. She is survived by son & daughter-in-law, Gordon & Elaine Speer of Beeville, sisters, Lucille Wilson and Jerry Tilton both of Baytown, brothers Clyde Childers of Baytown, Ted Childers of Milton, Fl, four grandsons, and numerous great grandchildren.
Services are scheduled for Monday, 11:00 am at Navarre Funeral Home with Doug Williams and Jacob Porter officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday afternoon from 3-5 pm at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be David Speer, Kevin Speer, Bill Speer, Kenneth Tilton, Robert Wilson, George Ward, and Blackie Black.
