Nellie Doris Hanson

She was born in Texarkana, Arkansas on June 28th,1928. She was married to Louis (Buddy) Hanson, Jr.

Nell was a homemaker all her life. Her front yard was always beautiful and full of flowers. She loved to sew and made Barbie clothes, prom dresses, welder’s caps, choir robes, and costumes for half of Baytown. Most recently, Nell enjoyed doing plastic canvas yarn projects and especially loved giving them away to family, friends, and strangers. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed spending time at City Lites and visiting with her friends there. She always thought of them as her extended family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Fines and Russie Black, her husband Louis (Buddy) Hanson, Jr., and her son Ronald W. Hanson.

She is survived by her son Lewis A. Hanson; daughters Terri Laramore and husband Kerry of Baytown; Karen Licari and husband Jerry of Trinity; granddaughter Carla Eppler and husband Gary; grandsons James Laramore and wife Candice; Ty Laramore all of Baytown; Rocky Licari of Trinity. Great grandchildren Celeste Eppler, Caleb and Madison Laramore. Brother Don Black and wife Barbara of Houston, and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, September 9, 2012 at Earthman Funeral Home from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. Funeral services will be at Earthman Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, September 10, 2012 at 2:00pm, interment will follow at Earthman Memory Gardens Cemetery, 8624 Garth Rd., Baytown, TX 77521.
