

He was born September 20, 1923 in Ranger, Texas to parents, Dudley King and Dora Robinson King, lived in the Baytown area most of his life, graduated from Barbers Hill High School, was a retired Pipe Fitter from the A. J. Mundy Company and was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II having served in the Asiatic-Pacific Theatre and the Philippine Liberation.
Otis was preceded in death by his wife, Rena Mae New King and his parents.
Survivors include his children, Ray King and his wife Ginger of Medina, Texas, Dennis King and his wife Linda of Baytown, Iris King of Highlands and Floyd Wayne King and his wife Betty of Nederland; sister, Dorothy Boughton of Baytown; grandchildren, Carla Consimue and her husband Paul, Daisy King, Tina Apgar and her husband Jeff, Jessica Galloway and her husband Ronnie, John King and his wife Adele, Kayla King, Tina Schamp and her husband Jeff and Rebecca Miles and great-grandchildren, Kyle, Joshua, Charity, Christopher, Ryan, Matthew, Sabrina, Alexis, Lauren, Cody, Trapper, Ben, Shannon, Haley, Jimmy, Eric and Ruby.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, June 28, 2008 at the Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, June 27, 2008 at the Navarre Funeral Home.
