She was preceded in death by her husbands, Ben Hicks and Percy Miller.
She is survived by her brother, Ottis Ward, Jr.; three children, Wesley Hicks, Olie Buxton and Frankie Brown and a total of 47 grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Feb. 9, 2013, at 11:00 a.m., at Highlands United Methodist Church, 107 W Houston St, Highlands, TX.
