

Randy Perry, 49, of Baytown, TX was born in Baytown on August 28, 1956 and passed away Wednesday, August 31, 2005 at his home. He was a 1974 graduate of Ross S. Sterling High School and a member of the NRA and Memorial Baptist Church. He retired from Exxon-Mobil Chemical, where he was an electrician and an active firefighter on Team 13 from 1978-1999. He was also a member of the Rescue Team. While there, he was instrumental in forming the Pumper Team to compete in the Pumper races. He was a member of several different area volunteer fire departments. He loved to hunt, be with friends, work on his dad’s farm in Grapeland, and he had just started raising cattle. Most of all though, he enjoyed spending time with his grandsons.
His family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home Friday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be Saturday, September 3, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. at Navarre Funeral Home with Rev. Brad Hoffman officiating. At his request, his body will be cremated after funeral services.
Serving as pallbearers will be Scott Wilson, Jeff Johnson, Chris Perry, Greg LaRock, Donnie Wells, and Greg Neail.
He was preceded in death by his parents Earl and Alyne Perry and is survived by his wife, Kim Neail Perry of Baytown; children, Chris Perry, Mandy Perry, and Greg LaRock, all of Baytown; brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Toni Perry of Houston; sister and brother-in-law, Pam and Greg McMahon of Baytown; grandsons, Joshua Gauge Perry and Kaleb Neail LaRock; mother-in-law, Shirley Neail of NY; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, John and Sue Miller of NY, Betty and Randy Hines of NY, Kenny and Judy Neail of NC, Sharon Martin of NY, and Greg Neail of NY; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
