

Randall Gerald “Randy” Spell, 64, of Baytown, passed away on Friday, April 20, 2007 at the San Jacinto Methodist Hospital in Baytown. He was born on November 5, 1942 in Baytown to Parents: Frank Gerald Spell and Willie Mavis Hawthorn Spell. He worked as a Lab Technician for many years with Poly One Plastics.
Randy was a gentle, loving father and husband. His name meant protector and he lived up to it each day. He was a strong man, but to those he loved he was tender.
He is preceded in death by his First Wife: Jimmie Marie Ausley Spell and Father: Frank Spell. He is survived by his Wife: Belinda Gail Spell; Sons: Don Spell and his wife Rhonda and David Spell; Daughters: Ginger Alexander and her husband Brian and Amber Spell; Step-Sons: Brent Stanley and his wife Angie and David Stanley; Mother and Step-Father: Willie and Gayle Mathews; Sister: Shirley Young and her husband James; Brother: Andrew Spell and his wife Sharon; and Grandchildren: Tiffany, Codi, Trevor, Tyler, Konner, Kaci and Austin, and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Monday, April 23, 2007 from 6:00 P. M. until 8:00 P. M. at Navarre Funeral Home in Baytown. Funeral services for Randall Gerald Spell will be held on Tuesday, April 24, 2007 at 10:00 A. M. at the Navarre Funeral Home Chapel in Baytown with the Rev. Larry Hayes officiating. Burial will follow at Palms Memorial Park in Dayton.
Honoring the family as pallbearers will be Sixto Nieto, Brent Stanley, Michael Truncale, Alex Shivers, Gilbert Saenz, Brian Alexander, James Young and Wayne Ausley. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Lloyd Graves and Andy Spell.
