Reba Pauline Curry, 91, of Galveston, TX, passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 31, 2011. She was the last surviving member of 10 brothers and sisters. She was a hard working, dedicated mother who loved reading, doing puzzles and spending time with family. She was a longtime member of First Baptist Church Galveston.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Alvin Curry.
She is survived by her daughters, Joyce Howeth and Becky Griffin and husband David; grandchildren, Bobby, Jr., Lance, Gina, Joni, Kristen, Kari and Kyle; 11 great grandchildren, several great-great grandchildren and many friends and family.
The family will receive friends on Friday, Sept. 2, 2011, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m., in the Mausoleum at Memory Gardens, 8624 Garth Rd., Baytown, TX, with services following at 1:00 p.m.
