He was born in Houston, Texas on August 10th, 1953 to Jesse Gonzalez and Soledad Acosta. He worked for SAV Paint and Drywall for 35 years. He was a member of the United States Air Force for four years.
He was preceded in death by mother, Soledad Acosta, brother Fred Vasquez, and brother Enrique Silva. He is survived by son Adam Gonzalez, Sam Vasquez, Steve Vasquez, Mary Rodriguez, Eva Torres, Edward Silva and many nieces and nephews as well as two grandchildren.
A memorial mass will be held at 6 p.m., Friday, September 11, 2020, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1907 Carolina St., Baytown, TX 77520.
