Rita Lynn Byrd, 51, of Baytown was born March 3, 1962, in Houston and passed away Friday, February 14, 2014. She attended Galena Park High School. She enjoyed sewing and craft making and selling Southern Light Candles.
She is survived by her husband, Thomas Byrd, daughters, Jennifer Byrd and Tiffany Byrd, and grandsons, Logan DeVazier and Jaxyn Marquez, all of Baytown; sisters and brothers-in-law, Debra and David Byrd of Normangee, Sandra and Charles Davis of Houston, and Gail Meyers of Webster; brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, Bill and Betty Byrd and Patricia Callaway, all of Channelview; and numerous other family members and friends.
Her family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home Sunday from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. Graveside services will be Monday, February 17, 2014, at 10:00 a.m. at Cedarcrest Cemetery.
