Robert W. Adams

Robert W. Adams passed away Thursday evening, March 10, 2005 at a local hospital. He was born July 31, 1920 in Corsicana, Texas to Robert and Essie Adams. He was a retired Drilling Superintendent for Exxon and a veteran of the U.S. Navy during WWII. He was a member of Wooster Baptist Church.

He is preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Helen Roybal and Gwendolyn Adams. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Jane Adams of Baytown, sons & daughters-in-law, Steven & Laura Adams of Austin, Sam & Becky Adams of La Porte, daughter, Shirley Adams of Baytown, grandchildren, Ryan Adams, Matthew & Elizabeth Adams, Michael Adams, and Andrew Adams-Whitehead.

He was an avid fisherman and loved spending time with his grandchildren. He was a loving husband and father. He will be greatly missed.

Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday, 10:00 am at Wooster Baptist Church with Dr. Mack Jones officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday evening from 6-8 pm at Navarre Funeral Home.
