

Rudolph “Rudy” Williams, 59, of Baytown passed away Sunday, May 27, 2007 in a Houston hospital. Born May 2, 1948 in Natchitoches, LA and raised in Lake Charles, LA, he was a resident of the Baytown area for the past 20 years. Rudy was a graduate of W. O. Boston High School and worked many years in the petrochemical industry in the Lake Charles area. He was a Professional Car Salesman at Alliance Chevrolet in La Porte and was a member of the Goose Creek Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses and the Automobile Association of America. He was an avid pool player, enjoyed photography, and especially loved his classic Chevrolet Camaros.
He was preceded in death by his beloved Willie “Nen” and Rosalie “Nan-Nan” Johnson and brother Ronald Charles Williams. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Audrey Mae Guillory Williams and daughter and son-in-law, Aundrea Cheree and Lee James Trent, all of Baytown; son and daughter-in-law, Gregory Wade and Stephanie Williams of Lake Charles, LA; parents, James Sr. and Curlie Williams, sister and brother-in-law, Rosa and O. B. Maxwell, and brother and sister-in-law, James Jr. and Christine Williams, all of Houston; grandchildren and the joy of his life, Damian, Stephen, Simien, and Brandon Williams and Marcus, Darius, and Julian Trent; and a host of other relatives and friends.
His family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home Saturday, June 2, 2007 from 12 noon until 2:00 p.m., when a funeral service officiated by Elder Russell Semien will begin.
