Ruth Suzie Peoples

She retired from Humble Oil Refinery in Baytown. She was a well known artist and a member of the Baytown Art League who loved to do portraits and still life paintings. She enjoyed reading, writing letters, and had a special place in her heart for her Pekingese dogs.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Malford M. D. Peoples, sister and brother-in-law, Nena Mae and David Albright, brother and sister-in-law, James and Jimmie Trammell, and great nephew Hilton Eddie Going Jr. She is survived by one sister and brother-in-law, Emma Lois and George Tankey of San Angelo, Texas, nieces and nephews, Debra Tankey, Mike Tankey, Marsha Baxter, Lisa Escue, Patricia Tankey, Jan Beaman, Sondra Going, and Dianne Jensen. Great nieces and nephews, John Paul Escue, Matthew Bonser, Trevor Bonser, Jim Tom Beaman, Shay Bolm, Teina Laird, David Jensen, and Valerie Jensen.

Graveside services will be held Friday, 3:00 pm, at San Jacinto Memorial Cemetery, 14659 I-10 East Freeway, Houston, Tx. 77015, 713-453-7114.
