Sandra graduated from Robert E. Lee High School in 1967. She worked for Citizens Bank and Trust until the birth of her first child. This is the time she became a devoted homemaker. Sandra was a member of the Cedar Bayou Methodist Church where she enjoyed being a Sunday school teacher.
In 1970, she met and fell in love with Earl, the love her life. On October 16, 2020, Sandra and Earl celebrated their 50th year wedding anniversary.
She was a dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother. She treasured time spent with family and embraced every moment with them. She especially loved her role as Nana. She had a vivacious personality and always made people smile. She made friends everywhere she went and loved living life to the fullest.
Sandra never met a stranger. To her they were all friends, to them she was “MOM”. She loved to dance and have a good time. She was the life of the party and her smile lit up the room. Sandra always took time to lend a listening ear and was always supportive of family and friends.
Sandra is preceded in death by her mother and father, Edward and Marsdol Schiller; and her sister, Shirley Ann Schiller.
She is survived by her husband, Earl Fudge; two daughters, Leslie Schmuck and husband Marcus, and Kristie Fudge; one granddaughter, Hannah Fudge; brother, Edward Schiller, Jr. and his wife Terri; niece, Tammie; and nephew Jeff.
