With a heavy heart we are sad to announce that in the early morning of June 21, 2023, heaven gained another angel. Sharon Rebecca Escamilla age sixty-eight born on June 30, 1954, to Martha Sepeda in Bakersfield, California passed away peacefully due to natural causes.
Sharon was preceded in death by her mother, Martha Sepeda; her brothers, Miguelito, Oscar, Albert, Arturo, Ismael, George, and Israel.
She is survived by her brothers, Daniel, Horacio, Homero, Jaime; and sister, Sandra; by her three children, Jose Anthony Escamilla, Yesenia Martha Trejo, and Sharon Yanira Delopez. She is also survived by her nine grandchildren and her ten great-grandchildren.
Sharon was a God fearing, caring, loving, and free-spirited woman. She could light up a room with her smile and infectious personality. There was rarely a day that she was not singing and dancing full of joy. She was generous beyond a doubt. She radiated positivity and happiness; even in her own trials she was lifting the spirits of those around her. She was a strong mother and a wonderful grandmother. She was funny and goofy and always had a joke to crack. Her laugh was contagious. Her touch was gentle. She was your biggest supporter and would always leave you with words of wisdom. Her faith is what gave her strength to keep pushing and she always did just that. God finally called her home to rest, and she will be deeply missed, and forever remain in our hearts.
Visitation will be from 5-8 pm, Tuesday, June 27, 2023, at Navarre Funeral Home, 2444 Rollingbrook Drive, Baytown, TX 77521. A rosary will be recited at 6:30 pm.
