

Sharon Perkins, 59, of Baytown was born July 13, 1946 in Houston and passed away Monday, December 19, 2005 at her home. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, where she was involved in the bible study class. She loved to bake and won over 45 awards at the annual Baytown 4th of July celebration baking contests. Growing up, she lived in South America with her parents and was a 1964 graduate of Robert E. Lee High School and attended Lee College in 1965 and 1966.
Her family will receive friends at St. Joseph Catholic Church Wednesday, December 28, 2005 from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m., at which time a Funeral Mass will begin with Rev. Dwight Canizares officiating. Burial will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the Holly Grove Cemetery in Rye.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Dewie and Helen Perkins and is survived by her brother, D. W. Perkins, niece, Robin Perkins, and great nephew, Jake Berwick, all of Baytown; aunt, Lois Perkins of Highlands; and cousins, Richard, Robert, and Lavon McKinney of Highlands; Jo Ann and Leonard Braswell of Baytown, JoLynn Braswell of San Antonio, Nancy Guio of WY; Kathy and James Sharber of San Antonio; Chelsea Sharber of NY, Judy Toole of CA, Earl Massey of Beaumont, and Susan Morgan.
