Silvia L. Garza

Silvia Lino Garza, 68, of Baytown, TX entered Heaven’s gates on December 27, 2023 with her final moments spent peacefully in her home surrounded by her family. She was born in Matamoros Tamaulipas, Mexico on November 14, 1955 to Alida Jaime Villarreal. Silvia was one of ten children. Silvia married her soulmate in 1974 and relocated to Texas in 1976 where she started her own family shortly thereafter.

Silvia was an avid believer and follower of Christ. She was a fourteen year breast cancer survivor which she attributed to her unwavering faith in GOD. Silvia was a dedicated mother first and foremost. She treasured her children and grandchildren and embraced every moment spent with them. Silvia was a fan of all things beauty which was evident by her style and fashion. She was caring, sweet, loving, and close to God.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Alida Jaime Villarreal and two siblings: Eduardo Lino Jaime, Armando Lechuga Jaime. She leaves her precious memories to be cherished by her loving husband Pablo H. Garza Jr.; daughters, Sylvia Imelda (Carlos E.) Jaime, Alida (Ramon B.) Esmilla; grandchildren, Victor L. Esmilla, Hannah R. Esmilla, Carlos E. Jaime Jr., Aislynn G. Jaime; sisters, Alejandrina Lechuga Jaime, Blanca E. Lino Jaime, Laura M. Lino Jaime, Juana Elia Lino Jaime; brothers, Miguel Lechuga Jaime, Jose Cruz Lino Jaime.

A visitation for Silvia will be held Friday, January 5, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Navarre Funeral Home, 2444 Rollingbrook Drive, Baytown, TX 77521. A memorial service will occur Friday, January 5, 2024 at 6:30 PM, 2444 Rollingbrook Drive, Baytown, TX 77521. A rosary will occur Friday, January 5, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 6:30 PM, 2444 Rollingbrook Drive, Baytown, TX 77521.
