

Steven Connor Brown, born on April 30, 1951, in Baytown, Texas, passed away on October 13, 2025, at the age of 74. A beloved and devoted family man, Steve was known for his loyalty, wisdom, and hard-working nature, all wrapped in a humorous and lighthearted spirit that endeared him to many.
Steve's early years were filled with movement, raised by a single mom, Anabel Brown, who has preceded him in death. He graduated from Robert E. Lee High School in Baytown.
In his career, Steve was a millwright and a successful business owner, achievements that spoke to his industrious and wise character. His work ethic was matched only by his love for his family and his penchant for humor, making him a cherished figure both at work and at home.
At the age of 30, Steve married the love of his life, Patricia Brown, with whom he shared 43 wonderful years. Together, they raised three children: Bradley Brown (Amber), Kristy Belmont (Jeremy), and Sara Brown. Steve was also the proud grandfather of four grandchildren: Abigail Belmont, Creed Brown, Gavin Olsen-Brown, and Raelyn Pearson. His family was the center of his world, and he loved them more than anything.
Steve's personal interests were as vibrant as his personality. He was an avid fan of fishing, hunting, and later in life, took up golfing. A dedicated Cowboys and NASCAR fan, he found joy in the thrill of the game and the camaraderie it brought.
Known as a comic and comedian, Steve's humor and lightheartedness brightened the lives of those around him. His legacy is one of laughter, devotion, and love for his family, leaving behind a brother, John Brown (Elaine), and a host of family and friends who will miss him dearly.
